Helping Women Reach Their Full Potential!

Dress for Success Calgary’s Working Women’s Group is a 8-week cohort-based program offered to help employed women develop skills and knowledge that can propel them to a sustainable career.  

Any currently employed woman is eligible to attend our weekly sessions for 8 weeks, offered via Zoom, which will feature expert speakers on a wide range of professional and personal development topics.


Eligibility

  • Women or those identifying as women

  • Employed full-time or part-time at any career level

  • Available to attend online meetings once a week for the 8-week cohort cycle on Wednesdays from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

  • Committed to attending all 8 cohort sessions

SESSIOn TOPICs

  • Leveraging Your LinkedIn – 5 steps to a professional, current LinkedIn profile. Getting the job, you want!

  • Reaching your Financial Dreams – Learn about your credit.  What is your dream?  A credit card, vehicle, or home purchase? 

  • Polishing Your Professional Style – From first impressions to Canada business culture. What message are you sending?

  • Alberta Labour Laws and Resources – Learn about what is legal in Canada and what you should be asking.

  • Nutrition – Being your best, healthiest self for success.

  • Fashion and You – How to build that wardrobe and tips from the pros.

  • Financial Literacy & Fraud - Learn how to build your financial literacy, and how to avoid common financial fraud scams happening in Canada.

  • 30/60/90 Day Action Plan – nothing works unless you do!

Each participant who completes the entire series will receive a certificate of completion and entered into a draw for a gift!

All sessions will be held weekly on Wednesdays at 12:00 pm. Limited spots are available.

  • Spring 2024 - April 3 to May 22:

    Registration is now closed.

  • Early Fall 2024 - September 11 to October 30: Intake will open in August 2024.
