Looking for Clothes That Fit Your Style?
My Best Friend’s Closet provides stylish clothing, shoes, and accessories at no cost for teen girls facing financial barriers in Calgary and the surrounding area. During your 90-minute appointment, a volunteer stylist will help you find items that match your style, needs, and personality.
Who We Help
This Program May Be for You If You:
Are between 12 and 18 years old
Live in Calgary or the surrounding area
Are experiencing financial barriers
Need clothing for school and everyday life
Have not visited My Best Friend’s Closet within the past year
You can visit My Best Friend’s Closet up to two times, with at least one year between appointments.
How To Apply
Complete a referral form. You can be referred by an agency, school, family member, friend, or refer yourself.
Appointment Times:
Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m.
Saturdays at 9:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.
Virtual appointments are available by special request for clients with disabilities requiring accommodations.

Teen girls receive 90-minute appointments with peer-to-near-peer volunteer stylists who help select items matching their unique style and individuality.
Safe, Judgment-Free Environment
Appointments create spaces where teen girls feel celebrated for who they are, building confidence without pressure to conform to expectations that don't fit them.
Quality, On-Trend Clothing
Each woman receives up to 20 items of clothing based on availability, creating outfit combinations suitable for interviews and her first month at a new job with enough variety to present confidently while establishing workplace presence.
Peer-to-Peer Connection
Young volunteer stylists provide mentorship and support, creating connections that validate teens' experiences and demonstrate they're not alone.
