Every week, more women and teen girls walk through our doors seeking support as they navigate unemployment, career transitions, financial pressure, or a new beginning in Canada. Many are rebuilding stability. Many are caring for families on their own. All are looking for a pathway forward.
Your support makes that path possible.
In Calgary, 1 in every 5 women feels stuck—unable to secure work, return to education, or take the next step toward independence. Our free programs exist to break those barriers by providing practical skills, professional clothing, digital training, employment coaching, and confidence-building opportunities that create long-term stability.
And the need is growing.
Our five no-cost programs provide practical tools, skills, and community support that open doors to a brighter future. From professional clothing and digital training to web development, leadership skills, and resilience-building for teen girls, we empower participants to build confidence, independence, and long-term stability.
Every gift, volunteer shift, and shared message extends that impact. When one woman moves forward, her family, her workplace, and her community move with her.

Your Support in Action
Your donation helps women and teen girls access the resources they need to thrive:
$35 – Provides essential items for a woman entering the workforce.
$75 – Funds a career workshop that builds confidence and readiness.
$150 – Supports one-on-one employment coaching for women who need it most.
$300 – Training materials for one Basic Digital Skills for Women workshop.
$450 – Program materials for 10 participants in the GREAT Program.
$2,250 – Full interview outfits for 15 participants of Dress for Success Calgary.
$3,575 – Quality running shoes for 65 participants in My Best Friend’s Closet.
$6,500 – Program supplies for six months for the Women in Technology.

We accept in-style and new or gently-worn in-season professional clothing items and accessories for the Dress for Success Calgary boutique and all-season items for My Best Friend’s Closet. Please see below for details on the types of support you can provide.

+ What sort of women's items are you accepting for donation?
We accept donations of gently worn or new seasonal women's business and business casual clothing all sizes or 0-26. Please bring your donations in sturdy plastic bags or boxes and remove your clothes from hangers prior to donating.
- Suits, skirts, pants, blouses, jackets/blazers, dresses
- Shoes, dress boots
- Accessories: handbags, briefcases, jewelry, belts
- Outerwear such as coats/jackets, scarves and gloves
- New cosmetics, skin care and personal care products
+ What sort of teenage girl items are you accepting for donation?
We accept donations of gently worn or new clothing teen school-appropriate clothing for all seasons in sized XS through to XL and plus sizes in the items below. Please bring your donations in sturdy plastic bags or boxes and remove your clothes from hangers prior to donating.
- Jeans, pants leggings, skirts, athletic wear, jackets and winter parkas
- T-shirts, tank tops, hoodies, cardigans, sweaters, vests, blouses
- Shoes and boots
- Accessories: pack sacks, purses, belts, jewellery, scarves, gloves, hats
- New cosmetics, skin care and personal care products
- Brand new undergarments (underwear, bras, socks)
