On October 1, 2025, Making Changes Association hosted its Open House — a welcoming event that invited community members, partners, donors, and visitors to discover our space, meet our dedicated team, and explore the wide range of programs we offer to inspire learning, creativity, and community impact.

What an amazing day at our Open House!

Throughout the day, attendees enjoyed guided tours of our facilities, where they had the opportunity to see firsthand how creativity, learning, and collaboration come to life at MCA. Our team and program leaders were on hand to share insights about our key initiatives, including Dress for Success Calgary, Women in Technology, My Best Friend’s Closet, Basic Digital Skills and GREAT Program.

Visitors also explored information stations with program materials and upcoming event details, while enjoying light refreshments, coffee, and engaging conversations. The event provided a space for meaningful connections and networking, strengthening relationships among community partners, supporters, and individuals interested in making a positive impact.

The Open House was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our community and showcase how Making Changes continues to support women and families in Calgary through empowerment, skill development, and connection.

All persons welcome at making changes

Making Changes acknowledges the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy which includes the Siksika, Piikani, Kainai, the Tsuut’ina Nation and Stoney Nakoda Nations of Chiniki, Bearspaw and Wesley and the Metis people of Alberta, Regions 5 & 6.
