Why Digital Skills Matter for Work & Learning

Technology is part of how we apply for jobs, communicate at work, complete training, and participate in education.

For learners with limited digital experience, everyday tasks like joining an online meeting, uploading an assignment, completing a digital timesheet, or navigating multiple applications can become barriers to moving forward.

Digital Skills for Work & Learning provides a supportive environment where participants can practice these skills before they need to use them independently at work or in education.

Greater Digital Confidence

Practice everyday digital tasks in a supportive environment and become more comfortable using technology independently.

Increased Learning Readiness

Become familiar with the digital platforms and tasks commonly used in courses, training, and further education.

Stronger Workplace Readiness

Build practical skills for common workplace tasks, from professional email and calendars to documents, spreadsheets, and online meetings.

More Confident Digital Communication

Practice communicating professionally through email, virtual meetings, and other digital tools.

Building Pathways to Work & Education

Developing practical digital skills can help participants move forward with greater confidence and independence.
