As part of International Women’s Month, Dress for Success Calgary hosted the Spring Brunch, bringing community members together for an afternoon of connection, celebration, and giving back in support of women pursuing employment and economic independence.
Held on March 15 at Brioche, the event welcomed guests to celebrate the power of women supporting women while raising funds for Dress for Success Calgary. Proceeds from the brunch help the organization continue providing professional attire, career coaching, and employment readiness services that empower women to achieve their career goals with confidence.
Guests enjoyed a thoughtfully curated two-course brunch accompanied by live music, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encouraged conversation and community. One of the highlights of the afternoon was a live typewriter poetry experience by Poesy, where attendees received personalized poems inspired by meaningful conversations and shared reflections, creating unique keepsakes to remember the day.
The Spring Brunch served as a reminder that community gatherings can be both meaningful and impactful. Through the generosity of attendees and supporters, the event celebrated International Women’s Month while helping create new opportunities for women as they build confidence, develop new skills, and move forward in their employment journeys.
