Our volunteers are recognized as being one of our greatest strengths and are the reason Making Changes is able to make such a profound difference in the lives of so many women. As part of the Making Changes team, our volunteers contributed more than 12,500 hours in 2014!

We are looking for volunteers who want to take an active role in making Calgary a better place for women and their families.

Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in Making Changes!

We are currently recruiting volunteers for our casino and for our upcoming bingos. These fundraisers provide an important source of funding for Making Changes. Volunteering at the casino and at bingos is a great way for people to support our organization and to meet other great people.

To volunteer for the casino or the bingos, please contact Patti by e-mail at Volunteer@makingchangesassociation.ca or by phone at 403-262-5776. Please provide your name, telephone number, the date you are available to volunteer and your preferred shift and position (for the casino).

Bingo Volunteers

Making Changes may participate in 10 or more Bingos over the course of the year, and requires 13 volunteers per Bingo.  Shifts will typically be five hours, and will be an afternoon, evening or late evening shift. You could commit to any number of shifts that would fit your schedule, and would not be required to work all 10 Bingos.

Upcoming Bingo:

May 17th from 4:15 to 9:15 pm

Location: Grey Eagle Resort & Casino (this is a smoking facility)

Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information or with any questions you might have at volunteer@makingchangesassociation.ca or 403- 262-5776.
